FOOTSKILL I/ FOOTSKILLS II/ GOALKEEPERS ACADEMY

Foot Skills I
Begins:  7TH September 2009 – 19th October 2009 (no session Oct 12th)
Monday’s, 5:30-6:30pm @ Smithland Fields

Mission: the Foot Skills I Program provides additional, high level training for the young, motivated Recreational player. Training focuses on improving individual ball skills and teaching the fundamentals of team play using an active, games oriented approach.

 

·         Available to U8 and older recreational players.

·         Six week training program.

·         $50 for six week training program

·         Fall and Spring training offered.

·         Clinic setting where half time is technical training and half is games.

·         SVU experienced staff will lead players in a fun, exciting and competitive training and game environment.

Foot Skills II

Mission: the Foot Skills II Program provides additional, high level training for the , motivated Travel players. Training focuses on improving individual ball skills and teaching the fundamentals of team play using an active, games oriented approach.

 

·         Available to U11 and older Travel players.

·         Six week training program.

·         $60 for six week training program

·         Clinic setting where half time is technical training and half is games.

·         SVU experienced staff will lead players in a fun, exciting and competitive training and game environment.

Goalkeeper Academy
Begins:  7TH September 2009 – 19th October 2009 (no session Oct 12th)
Monday’s, 6-7pm @ Monger Fields

Mission: train goalkeepers from all programs in the specific skills of goalkeeping.

Available to all players interested in improving goalkeeping skills.

 

·         Six week course.

·         Beginner and Advanced  sections available.

·         Instruction in fundamental, intermediate, and advanced skills. Technical, tactical, psychological, and conditioning aspects of goalkeeping are taught.

·         Directed by Goalkeeper Specialists Jon McClure and Joy shaiebly
