Take I-81 to Exit 240 (Bridgewater) and exit onto Va. 257 going west. Continue to U.S. 11. At the stoplight turn right onto U.S. 11 going north. Go 0.3 miles. Smithland Road Soccer Complex (Harrisonburg)
1542 Smithland Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
From I-81 take exit 247-A (east Elkton). At the 1st stoplight, take a left onto Linda Lane. Proceed through the next two stoplights (cross over Country Club Road and pass the Smithland Elementary/Skyline Middle schools) to the round-about. Proceed around the round-about and take the third right onto Smithland Road North. Cross over the railroad tracks and take the entrance to the right onto 1542 Smithland Road. The field entrance sign says "League Play Only". 

Oakdale Park (Bridgewater)
134 Mt. Crawford Avenue, Bridgewater, VA 22812
From I-81 take Exit 240 (Bridgewater). Proceed on Rt. 257 3.4 miles west to the Town of Bridgewater.  At the stop light of Rt. 257 and Main Street (beside Hardee’s) take a right turn and proceed north on Main Street (Rt. 42).  Go 0.4 miles north on Main Street to turn right onto Mt. Crawford Avenue at the First Union Bank.  Oakdale Park will be on your left on Mt. Crawford Avenue.  The soccer field is the first athletic field you come to, right behind the small yellow building.  

Montevideo Middle School (Penn Laird)

From I-81 take Exist 247 onto US 33 East.  Proceed on US 33E approximately 8 miles to Rt. 996. Turn right on 996; in ½ mile MMS will be on your right.

John C. Myers Elementary School (Broadway)
290 Raider Road Broadway, VA 22815
Take VA 42 through Harrisonburg and north to the outskirts of Broadway.  Continue into Broadway past the Subway on the left.  Turn left on Turner Avenue; JCMES is at the top of the hill on the left.   

Lucy Simms Educational Center

620 Simms Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA 22802
Located off off North Main Street / US 11 in Harrisonburg. Take E. Washington Street .2 miles to Simms Avenue. Turn right onto Simms Avenue and a left directly into the parking lot.

Ramblewood Park
2213 Ramblewood Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22801
Located off South Main Street / US 11 in Harrisonburg. Take Pleasant Hill Road East, slight right at Huffman Street and continue onto Stone Spring Road. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile, cross over the interstate bridge and take a right onto Ramblewood Road. Procced approximately .4 miles to Ramblewood Park.

Weyers Cave Community Center (Weyers Cave, Va.)

From I-81 take exit 235 (Va-256/Weyers Cave) and proceed towards Grottoes. Go approximately 1.6 miles (cross the railroad tracks and go through the stoplight) and the Weyers Cave Community Center and fields are off to the left.

Shenandoah Valley United, Inc (SVU) will be our recipient of the Denton Family Foundation 15th Annual Fall Golf Classic.

In the words of the late Nelson Mandela: “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire, it has the power to unite people in a way that little else does”. The game of soccer and its etiquette is played by the entire world and understood by everybody. Soccer is a wordless interaction that can bring a community together.

Shenandoah Valley United, Inc has a vision. Believing their grassroots organization can create sustainable social change in the community SVU established The United Project - Beyond the Game as the Community Outreach arm of the organization, which provides free programing to the Boys and Girls club, creating programs for players with disabilities and giving over $16,000 in financial aid each year. In addition to The United Project, SVU celebrated its largest year yet with over 1,800 registrants playing soccer in our Recreation, Travel and Academy Programs. 

As a successful athlete Warren Denton Jr., understood the principles and values inherent in sport which ultimately helped him become the man who creates this wonderful legacy today. Sport can teach our youth about fair play, inclusion, respect, and equipping players with the confidence and knowledge necessary to assume responsibility in their communities. Lessons on the field can be directly transferred to life off the field, ensuring the long-term impact of social change through soccer.
