SVU 2011’ High School Premier Winter Series
Introduction/Overview
The 2011’ Premier winter series will allow high school players who played with SVU over the Fall 2010’ soccer season to continue their season throughout the winter until the beginning of the high school season in March 2011’. SVU High School Winter Series will also provide elite high school players with a top level training environment throughout the winter and early spring period, whilst preparing them for the upcoming high school soccer season.
Team Selection
Tryouts will be held on December 14th and 15th at 7:00pm at EMU Turf. Please bring clothes that will be appropriate for the weather.
- 7v7 Events (All training players will be invited)
- 11v11 Tournament events (SVU will select a U16 Girls/U17 Boys Team to travel to these events **any player who is currently on the SVU U16 Girls/U17 Boys team is guaranteed a place on this tournament team if they are participating in this program**

Player Expenses
There are expenses associated with the SVU Premier Winter Series. All players selected will have to register and pay the fee of $250 for Girls (due to event schedule)/$225 boys, payment plans are available. If you are not a SVU player, an additional $76 will be needed to purchase a complete uniform (home/away shirts, shorts and socks).
The payment includes:
- Approximately 14 training sessions: additions if necessary
- 7v7 Tournament Registrations
- Training Location Rental Fees
- Coaching Stipends
- Training Equipment
- Training T-Shirts
The U16 Girls/U17 Boys 11v11 Tournament team will have additional fee for the Tournament registration. This fee will be approximately $30 (not including Jefferson Cup Fee)
