Challenge - u7-u10 Age Groups

Challenge: Advanced Development Program’s (CADP) primary objective is to provide U7-U10 players a competitive and fun learning environment that encourages individual development, creativity, and understanding of the game. This program is Shenandoah Valley United’s bridge between recreation and travel soccer. Through this program, our players will compete via intra squad scrimmages and other club teams with similar motivation to improve their game.

Who is the CADP for? If your child spends extra time outside of scheduled practice time working on their skills, excels in their current program, or is interested in playing travel soccer in the future, CADP is perfect for them. Additionally, if you as a parent are looking for quality coaching and an environment that challenges your player in new ways, CADP is the best program for your family.

With no tryouts, parents/players are free to determine whether Challenge is right for them based on player athleticism, soccer experience, and potential interest in further soccer development.  Players/teams will have 2 trainings each week, and a minimum of 2 outside matches per season. All training and match sessions are run by an SVU Staff Coach with the assistance of volunteer/parent coaches.

Registration is limited to 80 Players, 4 Head Coaches, 4 Assistant Coaches, 4 Field Assistants.

Minimum Registration for each division (U7/U8 and U9/U10) is 25 players. If player interest is low, then parents will be called and offered placement on recreation teams and refunded the difference of program fees.
