About SVU
SVU is the preferred soccer club of the Shenandoah Valley serving youth in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County and the surrounding areas. Partnered with Horizons Edge, we are committed to developing young athletes.

SVU offers all levels of play from the recreational league for the player who is out to enjoy the game to the travel league for the premier player who is looking to play at the highest competitive levels. SVU works to ensure that all valley youth who want to participate in soccer are not prohibited due to financial restraints.

Recreational League (U4 - U19)
The primary objective of the recreational program is to enable players to learn the game of soccer in a fun and stimulating environment. The focus is on developing their skills to help them be the best soccer players they can be, while maintaining a healthy approach to competitive soccer. The Recreational League includes the Mini Kickers and Challenge programs.

Travel League (U11-U19)
The primary objective of the travel program is to enable players to play the game of soccer in a more competitive and stimulating environment and prepare players for the next level whether it be high school or after. The focus is on developing their skills to help them be the best soccer players they can be, while maintaining a healthy approach to competitive soccer.
