Welcome to SVU

To REGISTER for a program, go to the menu above. If it is your first time registering, click "Register First Time Users". If you are already a member, click "Login Already a member". Once you are logged in, go to the upper left hand corner and choose "Register now" and the programs your child is eligible for will appear so that you may enroll them. Further instructions available under the Tab Home/Registration Aid.

Everything you need to know about the 2010-2011 travel year is available in one comprehensive packet of material.  Download it and print a copy today!  Go to the Travel > General Info & Fees Tab.  
SIGN UP NOW for Fall 2010 Recreation League.
Fall Recreation Soccer REGISTRATION NOW OPEN.  Early bird deadline ends June 20th.  Late fees in effect after July 20th.  Registration closes July 31st. 
NEW RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Initiative Beginning Fall 2010.
Shenandoah Valley United is starting school-based soccer teams for kindergarten and first grade players. This will increase opportunities for children and parents to know others at their schools and make it easier to attend practices.

If you are interested in helping form teams at your school or school-to-be (or a home-school grouping) or in serving as a liaison with your school, please contact Joe Riley at josephriley@comcast.net | (540)432-1983 | (540)383-6391.

 
NEW Club Phone
All general phone inquiries can now be directed to 540.383.6341.  This new phoneline will be answered by staff on Mondays 11:00am-7:00pm, Tuesdays-Fridays 9:00am-2:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am-12:00noon.

Shenandoah Valley United

Shenandoah Valley United (SVU) was created to promote and organize soccer in Harrisonburg City, Rockingham County and the surrounding area. Begun in 1995 as Harrisonburg Soccer Association, the league averages 600 players in recreational programs and 300 in travel programs each year. SVU is a member of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA), an affiliate of the U.S. Youth Soccer Association.

The primary goal is to develop soccer skills, foster proper attitudes toward competition and sportsmanship, learn respect for rules, the value of team­work, self-discipline, and gain self-confidence through improved soccer skills. Most importantly, SVU provides a fun and satisfying experience for all involved in the program—players, coaches, referees and parents. The program offers an excellent opportunity to make new friends and provides a wholesome and safe environment to develop skills and be active.
