TRYOUTS
Tryouts for the 2025- 2026 Season. – Placements are announced on May 30 in your SVU account.
Players are expected to pre-register for Annual player placements via their online SVU account. Please contact svuinfo@shenvalleysoccer.com if you require registration assistance.
SVU annual player placements are conducted each spring (April and May) for the following fall and spring Travel and Challenge seasons.
SVU Annual player placements are open to any interested player of the appropriate age and gender. Performance, attendance and attitude from previous soccer seasons will be considered.
Please note that each age group has TWO player placement dates. All players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryouts, if possible! To be considered for placement on a team all candidates must attend at least one tryout.

Travel - Mid Year Supplemental Tryout - Spring 2026
Spring 2025 Mid Year Supplemental tryout Date
Date: Feb. 1 2026
Location: Monger Park
Times: 2015,2014, 2013, 2012 Boys – 1:00- 2:15pm
2015, 2014, 2012 Girls- 2:30 – 3:45pmPlayers MUST register in their SVU account for the mid year tryout. We highly recommend registering in advance of the tryout.
Please plan to arrive early to sign in.
Coaches are under no obligation to fill roster spots or add players to a roster at mid-year player placements. There are no fees to attend the player placements.
This placement is for the Spring Season only. Players will be required to attend the full annual tryout in April/May for future placements.

U10 Challenge Program - Mid Year tryouts Spring 2026
Scheduled each year in February. This player placements is intended to fill any vacancy resulting from players not returning from the fall for the spring season. The number of available roster positions in the Challenge program will not be known until just prior to the player placement. All eager candidates are welcome to attend but players should know that spots will be limited. Selections and team placements will be announced via e-mail in the week following the player placement.

Date: Sunday, Feb. 8. – 2017 and 2016 birth years
Time: 2:30 pm – Note, depending on the number of players, tryout may not last the full 75min.
Location: Monger ParkPlayers MUST pre register online to participate in the Mid Year placement session. This can be done through your SVU account.
